Visual learning is especially important in science because students, more than ever, must learn to think visually and communicate their ideas visually to both peers, Teachers, students and the general public.
Sort videos are ideal for explaining science concepts or demonstrating a concept. Teachers can embed them in lessons easily, accounting for different learning styles and the fact that students typically have short attention spans. This multi-disciplinary project focuses on developing short videos.
We will be producing short videos on scientific concepts and experiments which O/L and A/L students categorized as difficult. They will be songs, documentaries or dramas and those videos will be narrated in native languages. We have already initiated the programme and we have started to upload some of them.
It is estimated that this project would cost around Rs. 896,000/= and we are looking for a sponsorship to make the project a reality.
